Small maple guitar 1 This guitar has a string length of 640 mm. It is influenced in design by Lacote in the outline and head. The bridge is my own design and strutting is my interpretation of the fan strutting system which gives a warm clear sound. The pegs have an internal mechanism and work like modern machine heads but look like wooden pegs. These keep the instrument looking and feeling light and are made by Peghed in America.. This particular guitar is owned by William Carter who has made two CD’s of the guitar music of Fernando Sor with this instrument on the Linn label.
